Identity security firm Entrust Datacard has revealed a new authentication cloud service solution.In a statement, the firm said the new offering expands on the company's portfolio of identity-based security solutions and allows for enterprise-grade authentication with the ease of a true software as a service (SaaS) platform."Over the years, we've seen a shift in the expectations of the IT and security organization – they are now expected to help enable the organization by taking advantage of new tools and resources that enable greater productivity and competitiveness," said Ryan Zlockie, vice president of authentication for Entrust Datacard."In addition to dealing with these new challenges, security is still at the forefront, and there are typically fewer resources than in the past.
