Digital identity firm Entrust Datacard has revealed a new software suite called Datacard TruCredential which the firms says will help organizations of all sizes deploy a secure ID program.Entrust says the solution meets a wide range of application requirements-from basic photo IDs to high-assurance credentials.The new software suite can also be used to issue a variety of credentials such as student, faculty or visitor IDs; employee or contract badges; patient and staff healthcare IDs; credentials for local government programs; membership and customer loyalty cards; and transit passes."For most public and private organizations, the ability to positively identify employees, students and visitors serves as the foundation for effective security – and this requires a flexible, web based secure ID solution," said Ryan Zlockie, vice president of software product marketing for Entrust Datacard.
