Elyctis has launched the ID Box One OEM series of ID readers designed to read ePassports, ID cards, residence permits and driver licenses.According to the company, the ID Box One OEM series can be integrated in any type of device, such as automats, terminals or kiosks.ID Box One OEM series readers detect the document, read its MRZ and use the information to access the chip. The reader supports all ICAO standards.Typical applications for the series include tablets, airport check-in kiosks, self-service terminals, mobile ID verification, bank enrolment and verification, card rental and SIM registration.The ID Box One OEM series comes in two versions:· MRZ scanner ID3, which only reads the optically available data from the document's MRZ;· RF MRZ scanner ID3, which reads the MRZ and uses the result to access the data embedded in the ID document's chip. The RF MRZ scanner ID3 can be equipped with antennas of different sizes.The Elyctis ID Box One OEM series will be demonstrated during SDW 2016, taking place in London from 10-12 May 2016.
