It is now taking a technological leap forward by launching a new generation to be available in the summer 2017. This solution represents several improvements regarding the incorporation of the data page into the passport in terms of security, durability, flexibility, compatibility and reliability.CETIS says: "The latest solution is suitable for either a partially or fully integrated hinge into a polycarbonate data page and features an exclusive hinge material. This patented solution enables useful additional functionalities, such as RFID CHIP and ANTENNA. CETIS has now also added a WATERMARK EFFECT and UV FLOURESCENT FEATURE to a variety of more than 50 security features that were already available."Depending on customers' needs, CETIS already offers binding solutions in which a hinge is a part of a passport booklet content; an alternative with polycarbonate on both sides; or binding without paper, only with polycarbonate.
