French secure contactless tech firm ASK has announced new appointments aimed to strengthen its management team.Delphine Resegotti has taken the position of Group CFO, Christophe Peix as Director of Contactless Solutions business unit, and Maximilien Nguyen as Head of its newly created Terminals business unit.Resegotti was previously CFO of SBM Operations, overseeing the firm's operating subsidiaries in Brazil, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Canada, the United States, and Malaysia.Meanwhile, Peix has held various managerial positions in sales and marketing in the telecom smartcard segment (Oberthur, Ingenico, OneAccess)."His [Peix's] combined expertise in ticketing and telecoms, combined with his international experience, are key assets for ASK. With NFC increasingly key to urban communication, the Group is focusing on its urban transmission networks," said the company in a statement.Prior to joining ASK, Maximilien Nguyen was Vice President of the Convergence & Solutions business unit at Morpho.The creation of a new division dedicated to Terminals confirms ASK's commitment to focus on value-added solutions based on contactless technologies for the transport and identity markets."ASK's combined international team is lined up to speed our development based on the strategic plan presented at its IPO," said ASK's CEO Julien Zuccarelli.
