Coming off the keynote stage, Anurag Shandilya, Head of Operations, Noida International Airport gave an important update on the Government of India’s phased rollout of the DigiYatra programme across the country, introducing enhanced passenger processing capabilities to busy airports. The 4-5 year programme will extend into 2024 to boost the biometric entry/exit system in this region, which is also making strides for encryption of data held for a limited time only by airports.
