Norwegian biometric credit card and access card firm Zwipe has announced a partnership with Japan's Hitachi High-Technologies.The companies have said that the framework agreement outlines commitments for commercial and technical cooperation including sales and distribution rights for the full product portfolio of Zwipe's solutions to the Japanese market.Zwipe said that “with this new alliance comes also the potential for high-volume manufacturing of the Zwipe product line through Hitachi High-Tech's systems, as well as an extension for Hitachi High-Tech to selling into other geographic markets”.Kim Humborstad, CEO and Founder of Zwipe, noted: “Working with Hitachi High-Tech is a significant milestone for Zwipe ߪ “We are proud to be recognized as a valued partner for Hitachi High-Tech, and are confident that our products can be seamlessly integrated into Hitachi High-Tech's value chain.
