Ukraine's State Migration Service issued has almost 13,700 ID-cards on the eve and on the day of local elections.The issuing was completed in order for citizens of Ukraine to be able to exercise their right to vote with an ID in hand.The press service added that since 2016, the migration service has issued more than 5 million passports in the form of an ID card.During a Cabinet meeting on Aug. 12, Ukrainian ministers supported a bill that proposes gradually abolishing domestic booklet passports, the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.The bill must now be sent to parliament for a vote.
