Japanese tech firm Toshiba has revealed a new version of a 2-in-1 laptop and tablet featuring biometric security in both a fingerprint reader and IR camera. The device is 15.4mm thin and 1.1kg, while coming with a claimed 16 hours of battery life and a Kaby Lake processor.The X20W-D comes with a 360-degree hinge, which means you can fold the top half all the way around and turn the device into a tablet.For biometric security, the device has an IR camera for Windows Hello face sign-in and a fingerprint reader built into its touchpad.In terms of ports, the X20W packs both a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. Its USB Type-C port is better than many that other notebooks offer, as it supports Thunderbolt 3 displays with speeds up to 40Gbps.
