Biometrics firm Techshino, which has offices in the Netherlands and Beijing, has announced the availability of a FBI Certified Fingerprint Reader.Techshino's Optical Fingerprint Reader TCO310 has passed the image quality specification test for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) single fingerprint capture devices, the company noted in a statement, adding that this FBI certification gives TCO310 the chances for use in various government projects.TCO310 is a compact device which generates high quality fingerprint image for various authentication demands. Potential applications include ID authentication and time attendance management, Information Inquiry and alive status tracking for retirees, Examinees identification, OA system security login and authorization management etc.”With Techshino's in-house developed algorithm which has robust performance in domestic large banks and Smart Biometric Identification Open System (Smart BIOS), Techshino can provide a total solution with TCO310″, the company said in a statement.
