The Nexus smartphones to be launched this year will have a swipe feature that enables users to quickly access notifications.A report from Android Police states that the impending HTC-made models of the Nexus smartphone will use the feature, which is linked on a rear sensor. The feature is already present on devices made by Huawei and its value brand Honor.Last September, Sweden's Fingerprint Cards confirmed that Google's new Nexus 5X manufactured by LG and its Nexus 6P manufactured by Huawei both feature its touch fingerprint sensor FPC1025.The rear-mounted sensors are used for a login service called “Nexus Imprint” that lets users wake their phones, unlock apps and make mobile payments all by just pressing with their fingerprint. FPC noted that these are also the first smartphones to use Google's new Android 6.0, a.k.a Marshmallow release, which integrates extensive new fingerprint sensor capabilities.
