Ultrasound biometric tech firm Sonavation has announced that Karl Weintz, former vice president of HID Global, will become its new president and CEO.Weintz served as vice president of mobile access for identity solution firm HID Global, and as executive vice president of worldwide sales, marketing and corporate development for ActivIdentity Corporation.At the latter, he was instrumental in the subsequent acquisition of ActivIdentity by HID.
