Next-generation government and citizen identity event SDW 2016 has announced that speaker proposals are now being accepted for its landmark 10th edition, with proposals sought on a wide range of themes covering the latest secure identity trends and technologies.The organisers of the industry-leading event, which will again be held at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster, London from 10-12 May 2016, are seeking speakers with expertise and experience from around the globe to provide unparalleled insight into secure document design and manufacturing, as well as modern identity solutions.Potential speakers are invited to submit an abstract of speech proposals to SDW 2016 Chairman, Mark Lockie, before the deadline of Friday 4 December 2015.Themes for SDW 2016 include a "Views from the top" session that will see leaders at the industry's highest level discuss its most pressing issues. There is also "DocEx 2016", a knowledge exchange programme for document examiners and designers that is only open to government representatives.Other important themes to be covered include "Ever Smarter Borders", "Bulletproof document design" and "Secure document lifecycle vulnerabilities". The conference will also explore "Mobile and virtual ID – Navigating new identity landscapes", and "National eID schemes: Opportunities and challenges".Mark Lockie, Conference Chairman, said: "The industry is evolving at a breakneck pace around the globe and our conference programme is expanding to reflect this.
