Canada's Saskatchewan Government Insurance, which operates auto insurance and driver's licensing programmes in the country's Saskatchewan province, is extending its deadline by two weeks for vendors interested in submitting a proposal for facial recognition services.SGI has been seeking vendors for proposals for driver's licence and identification card production services, to improve identity management and prevent fraud or abuse of the system.
