Media reports have stated that users in China are having issues using Face ID on Apple's iPhone X.In one report, a woman, identified only by her surname Yan, told the Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation that despite activating and configuring each phone's facial recognition software.Meanwhile, in a separate report in The Global Times, a woman has said Face ID failed to her and her son apartThe woman noticed the behavior soon after her husband bought her the phone.”Our son took it and it automatically opened,” said her husband surnamed Liu. “My wife asked him if he used her PIN, and he said he didn't know it.”Video shows the mother and son both demonstrating how they could unlock the phone using the Face ID feature.Liu called Apple's customer service, which told him to perform a factory reset. “Your wife and son probably look very similar,” the employee told Liu, adding the company was still troubleshooting the problem.Last month a 10-year-old boy in the US reportedly demonstrated how he could similarly unlock his mother's new iPhone X.
