Swedish fingerprint algorithm and device firm Precise Biometrics has revealed that its Precise BioMatch Mobile software has through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards (FPC) been integrated in a new smartphone, Coolpad Shine.On Thursday, FPC had Tweeted that Coolpad launched a new smartphone model embedding its FPC1025 touch fingerprint sensor.The news caps a stellar week for the Swedish biometrics firms which has seen their sensors and software embedded in Googles Nexus smartphones and a new model from LG.Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, commented on the latter development: “LG is a leading global smartphone manufacturer and we are proud that LG selected FPC1035 for V10. FPC1035 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality”.
