We are delighted to be announcing our January 2024 Survey Report on the epidemic problem of escalating deepfake and morphing fraud. The first swath of C-level speakers at our flagship Identity Week Europe event will be released this month, as we also endeavour to bring onboard identity companies as our valuable partners and immerse ourselves in what’s new in the identity ecosystem!
This paper will be the start of Identity Week’s series of industry reports, available for download on Identityweek.net and websites of our individual events. With a European focus in Q1, we are calling upon experts whose specialist knowledge and expertise is on AI deepfakes and morphing, the European AI landscape and the AI Act’s proposals by the European Commission.
The report title is ‘The next challenge – The gold standard for defeating AI deepfakes’, addressing the dominance of AI-generated deepfakes attacks which the industry is battling. Is there a ‘gold standard’ for tackling these deepfakes in the regulation or technology landscape or are deepfakes evolving to counteract this technology?
Respond to our survey with your views, hard facts, statistics and expert knowledge to help inform the latest 2024 report on the state of deepfakes and the industry’s response. Deepfake and morphing attacks have escalated into today’s big identity threat, with once principal threats like presentation attacks or face-matching becoming yesterday’s problems!
