Iris-based identity firm Iritech has entered a co-promotion agreement with Egis Technology, a provider of fingerprint sensors.While IriTech is well known for its iris cameras and software utilized by global governments, such as the Indian government's UIDAI project, and United Nations (Refugee Program and World Food Program), recently, InFocus, a Foxconn brand, has launched a smartphone with IriTech's algorithm solution in India for the Aadhaar project after getting STQC certification with zero FRR.The firm states that the co-promotion with Egistec, who is already providing fingerprint solutions to smartphone manufacturers, aims to create more opportunities for IriTech and Egistec in consumer technology while focusing on the mobile industry.”Recently, IriTech is focusing on promoting its technology to mobile devices and VR/AR companies amid the importance of privacy and security. The VR and AR industry will become a huge market for IriTech and we already have our solution evaluated by big players.
