Slovakian biometrics firm Innovatrics has announced the release of its next generation of AFIS.The company notes that the solution is designed for integrators and solution providers that need to provide large-scale, standard-compliant, high-performance and cost-effective biometric identification.”INNOVATRICS has built AFIS with this flexibility in mind,” explains Jan Lunter, Chief Technology Officer at INNOVATRICS. “With an open architecture, this new generation of AFIS offers freedom in choosing exactly the components an organization needs to develop the perfect identity management solution, leaving open the possibility for upgrades or changes in the future.”INNOVATRICS became the first fingerprint technology company worldwide to successfully pass the Minutiae Interoperability Exchange (MINEX) III continuing test organized by NIST. INNOVATRICS was also the first vendor to achieve full PIV (Personal Identity Verification) compliance in MINEX III while also ranking first in most of the main accuracy and interoperability criteria.
