Norwegian biometrics firm IDEX has announced that it has received an initial commercial volume production order for its Cardinal touch fingerprint sensor for a tier-one mobile handset.This production order follows IDEX's design win with the OEM smartphone manufacturer for a device to be distributed by a major wireless carrier, as announced on December 21, 2015.
