Sweden's Fingerprint Cards has revealed that its touch sensor FPC1155 features in a new, as yet unnamed Taiwanese smartphone.Precise Biometrics also noted on Tuesday that its algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile, had through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards been integrated in a smartphone from an OEM in Taiwan.Last week saw numerous design wins for FPC.Last Friday, FPC revealed that its touch sensor FPC1035 features in the MOTO Z Play. The firm also noted that an OEM in Japan launched two phone models featuring its fingerprint touch sensor FPC1145, mounted on the side. Meanwhile, the Nubia Z11 “Black and Gold” also launched featuring the FPC1035, amid other deployments.From China, the Huawei MediaPad M3 was launched, featuring Fingerprint Cards' fingerprint touch sensor FPC1145.And from the same firm, the Huawei Nova and Nova Plus were launched, featuring the touch sensor FPC1025.
