South Korean card firm Kona-i and US firm CPI Card Group have announced the release of a fingerprint-enabled credit card featuring an FPC sensor.The biometric credit card was launched at Money 20/20, FPC noted in a press release.Precise Biometrics has confirmed that he company's algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in products with small sensors and limited platforms, is integrated in a Kona-i credit card through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards.Precise Biometrics has also clarified, however, that the launched credit card is not commercialized and that the integration therefore has no financial impact on the company.Also today, the Xiaomi Mix was launched, featuring Fingerprints sensor FPC1235. This is the first launch featuring Fingerprints FPC1235.Meanwhile the Xiaomi Note 2 was launched, featuring Fingerprints sensor FPC1245.Last May, Kona-I said it was working with South Korean biometric firm CrucialTec on a plastic card fitted with a fingerprint module.
