Iris biometrics firm Eyelock has unveiled two new solutions, with one focusing on data storage and the other on enrolment.Firstly, the introduction of an iris portable template solution provides users the option to store templates on an EV1 smartcard (1 user per card).The solution is designed for nano NXT, an iris-based access control solution by Eyelock that authenticates up to 20 people per minute, in-motion and at-a-distance with unparalleled accuracy.Meanwhile, the firm's has extended the capibilities of its USB-powered myris portable iris scanner, making it now available as a low-cost enrollment device for EyeLock's access control solutions. “The availability of portable template and myris for enrollment is an important part of our strategy,” said Anthony Antolino, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer at EyeLock. “Iris access control is fast becoming a critical component of enterprise security and EyeLock's expanded suite of products makes it more cost-effective and convenient for integrators and end-users to implement.”
