eSanté accounts can be activated via MyGuichet.lu in Switzerland, providing access to activate the Electronic Health Record through Luxembourg’s secure IT platform. Online access which protects citizen confidentiality “demonstrates our commitment to simplifying citizens’ lives through the digitalisation of State services”, said Stéphanie Obertin, Minister for Digitalisation. The move they said would be pivotal to creating more user-friendly services and provide a “functional upgrade” giving the DSP a key role in the implementation of the European Health Data space.
This account must be activated in order to access the Electronic Health Record (DSP), the personal and secure electronic health record under the direct control of the patient.
