Canada-based Entertech Systems has launched a new version of an identity management platform which uses biometric authentication provided by its partner, Suprema, for access control.Entertech says BioConnect 3.0 platform has been improved for security professionals' identity needs, and that early market feedback has been promising.BioConnect's third iteration has new capabilities to control and manage devices, new functions to manage a user's true identity through biometrics and the ability to manage all access interactions, said Chris Alexander, Technical Product Manager for BioConnect.Entertech Systems is the official operating partner for Suprema in the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.”Entertech Systems lets companies overcome obstacles to main stream adoption of biometric access control,” says Rob Douglas, CEO of Entertech Systems. “Four years ago, we created BioConnect to solve the complexity inherent in connecting biometrics to the world's largest access control systems, and the market response has been phenomenal.”Currently, 13 of the top global access control manufacturers (ACMs) have been integrated with the new BioConnect 3.0, said Entertech in its statement.
