Changes to the open source code used for Google's netbook suggest that a fingerprint reader will be integrated in its next iteration.A new commit that has appeared within the Chromium repositories relates the biometric security, suggesting that Google is experimenting with the feature.It is likely that the use of fingerprint sensors on Chrome OS could allow logins to authentic Android apps, and authorise logins into different web pages.Google also recently added a PIN unlock option into the Chrome OS developer channel, so new security features appear to be on the way.
