Biometrics are making a big play at CES, and a good example of how simple fingerprint-enabled solutions are being showcased is the BenjiLock.The biometric padlock, a CES 2017 Innovation Awards Honoree, seems a simple upgrade to its traditional counterpart.Coming with a physical key backup, the solution seems very well suited for people who are continuously losing these.if someone you don't know makes a few attempts to unlock the device, BenjiLock automatically erases your information and will require the key to open it again.Launching later in the third quarter of this year for $80, the solution will be going up against BIO-key, which is also revealing a similar solution at CES.
