Norwegian fingerprint identification and authentication solutions, firm Idex has announced that a customer in Asia has commenced a pilot to test biometric cards manufactured by Feitian Technologies featuring IDEX's dual interface sensor.Stan Swearingen, CEO of IDEX Biometrics comments, “We are very pleased that a bank in Asia has commenced piloting biometric cards with our dual interface sensor. In July of this year we announced that Feitian had integrated our dual interface sensor into their cards, and they have now commenced piloting the product with their first customer.”Feitan will participate at the 2018 TrustTech trade show in Cannes, 27-29 November, and will showcase dual interface biometric cards featuring the IDEX sensor.
