Apple’s technology empire keeps branching into new areas of virtual reality, AI, smart devices and payment tools. The global technology sector is saturated with e-wallets, and payment platforms such as Amazon Pay, Braintree and PayPal. Not one to fall behind, Apple is set to upgrade its virtual and augmented reality headset with iris facial recognition for payments and authenticated access into Apple applications and services.
Rumours are circulating that the headset being ready in 2023 and followed by an augmented reality product which has been named the Apple Glasses. The headset has 14 cameras which relays real movements into virtual reality as well as authenticate user payments wit Apple Pay. Apple has reportedly trademarked some early names for the product such as ‘Reality One’, ‘Reality Pro’ and ‘Reality Processor’.
