Biometric technology company Zwipe has appointed Antonio D'Albore as vice president of Business Development.Mr D'Albore has more than 20 years of experience in smart card development, manufacturing, personalisation, integration and business development across payment, identification, transit and access control industries. Before Zwipe he worked for Incard, STMicroelectronics, Matica Technologies, IPM Group, Centro Grafico and as a strategic advisor to several stakeholders in the biometric card industry.At Zwipe Mr D'Albore will focus on partnership building and business development activities, initially focusing on leveraging his network in the Asia Pacific region. Mr D'Albore will report to SVP Payments, Marcio Stervid.Commenting on this latest addition to the Zwipe team, CEO of Zwipe AndrÉ Løvestam said: "every week we are seeing more and more inquiries from the marketplace to work or partner with Zwipe and we are strengthening our company to meet that demand.
