We have a wide-ranging discussion with Annet Steenbergen, who will be filling in discussions about “what’s new” to do with European digital identity and national EU wallets, which are yet to be built, at Identity Week Europe 2024.
Around the time of this interview, the eIDAS 2.0 Regulations were also passed, awaiting formal endorsement by the EU Council of Ministers to become law.
Annet is currently a consultant for the travel and tourism industry and works on projects with focus on implementing digital identity, (EU) Digital Identity Wallet large scale pilot and ICAO DTC.
