Two Technologies is pleased to announce they have received FBI Appendix F Mobile ID certification for their XF mobile device incorporating an Integrated Biometrics Sherlock FAP-45 fingerprint scanner.
This is the latest addition to its XF family of rugged Android™ smart devices, an integrated FBI certified FAP-45 fingerprint scanner that can capture two-finger flat and single-finger flat/roll fingerprints. The device is well-suited for a variety of applications and environments that require identity verification, such as border control checkpoints and law enforcement applications.
The FAP 45 module meets Mobile ID IQS FAP 45, GSA, FIPS 201, FBI Appendix F, and PIV certifications, and is well-suited for identification purposes where increased accuracy is beneficial, such as border control checkpoints and law enforcement applications. The module is IP65 rated, making it ideal for heavy duty usage in every type of environment.
The XF has a “hot swappable” supplemental battery for extended operation, and is available as a stand-alone device or with an integrated 3-inch thermal printer. An Optional integrated high performance 1D/2D barcode scanner is also available.
An SDK that allows developers to integrate the device into their application is also available.
