Indonesia’s digital population identity app (IKD) that the World Bank supports has over 12.3 million users. Jonathan Marskell, who supports digital transformation and the development of digital public infrastructure in Indonesia and Timor Leste, discusses the state of IKD onboarding and integrating organisations with the application including digital banks. The application “streamlines” the process of KYC for digital financial services and “reduces fraud related risks”.
