NHS in Wales have announced the re-launch of the bilingual app, setting out a 12 month roadmap for digital transformation of services through the app. The Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing Sarah Murphy spoke at the inaugural NHS Digital Summit signposting advanced patient services on the app, such as tracking patient’s progress on the NHS waiting list, viewing hospital appointments, and accessing a range of tools to help people to manage their health while waiting for surgery.

She also said the improvements to the app would extend “far beyond today’s re-launch”.

“In the coming months, people will be able to track their treatment waiting times, manage hospital appointments all from their phone or device. This is just the beginning of our digital transformation, as we work towards creating a digital front door to our NHS and social care services”.
