The redesign of Indonesia’s passport, due to be issued in August 2025, will coincide with the nation’s 80th Independence anniversary.
The changes will enhance the security features but overall appear as a newly designed document, which will “inspire improvement and progress”, some outlets said.
The passport will be bolstered with new UV light features and holograms,which will help reduce fraudsters’ attempts to anti-counterfeit false documents and upgrade the verification process.
