Surpassing 15 million app downloads, Digi Yatra has taken off since 2022 facilitating facial authentication and contactless technology to transform airport screening procedures. 

The platform has reached 16.5 million users, showing how innovative digital identity solutions are to capture trust across the public and private sectors. 

With built-in self-sovereignty, Digi-Yatra protects data privacy for passengers as it enables 60 million contactless passenger journeys across 24 airports nationwide without physical documents. 

With an average of 30,000 new downloads each day, Digi Yatra is on track to reach approximately solutions and demand for smoother air travel.

Suresh Khadakbhavi, CEO of Digi Yatra Foundation said “Reaching the 15 million user milestone is a strong reaffirmation of the growing trust in Digi Yatra’s vision”. The CEO stressed they intend to expand footprint across four additional Indian airports and conduct a pilot to accommodate international passengers using e-passports.
