Biometric and RFID security solution firm ZKAccess has launched a smart lock with embedded fingerprint recognition technology.ZKAccess described the ML10 biometric lock as a “plug 'n play” replacement to traditional door knobs.Each ML10 door lock can store and recognise up to 40 users, and works even during a total power outage, said the company.”Users and installers alike will love how easy this biometric fingerprint door lock is to use,” said Larry Reed, CEO, ZKAccess. “We are very proud to add the ML10 to the ZKAccess product suite, which is diverse and spans traditional card access products alongside cutting-edge, yet affordable biometric security solutions.”ZKAccess is a US subsidiary of ZKTeco, which has over 2,000 employees at its R&D/Manufacturing facility in China.
