Popular chat app WeChat, developed by China's Tencent Technology, has introduced a biometric login feature calledVoiceprint that allows user to access their accounts by speaking a passphrase.With some 300 million users, including many in Southeast Asia, WeChat is a significant playeris the burgeoning chat app market. Currently, Voiceprint is only available for iOS users and is not on Android. Users simply need to record a passphrase that consists of a short list of numbers.The app also has an option to verify their voiceprints and reset earlier voiceprints.Alongisde the biometric update, the firm also added a new feature that allows users sync customized stickers automatically if you log in on a new device.
