Proctoring tech firm Verificient Technologies has announced that it will partner with learning management systems company Infrastructure on solutions for earning online degrees.The agreement will see Verificient Technologies' multifactor behavioural biometric application, Proctortrack, integrated with the Canvas learning management system.The companies have said in a joint statement that this combined solution fulfills the Department of Education federal mandated standards for identity verification and authentication requirements for distributing Title IV funds.Meanwhile, it also gives students the flexibility to take proctored tests online, anytime.”We are all about ensuring the integrity of the online credential,” said Tim Dutta, CEO of Verificient Technologies.”Online degrees need to require the same rigor of student verification and authentication and consequently, hold equal value to traditional on-campus degrees and certificate programs.
