Sonavation Chief Technology Officer Rainer Schmitt has won an award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers for his work in ultrasound authentication technologies.The firm wrote in a statement that Schmitt's award from the IEEE's Technical Committee on Communications Quality & Reliability was a direct result of his breakthroughs in the application of ultrasound technologies to ultra-high security authentication in cyberspace.Schmitt commented: “It is an incredible honour to win such a prestigious award from an organization like the IEEE.
