Authentication firm Nok Nok Labs has announced a strategic partnership with Japanese biometric firm DDS that aims at jointly driving adoption of Nok Nok Labs' products in the Japanese market.Nok Nok Labs, a founding partner of the the FIDO Alliance, said the companies will work together to support device manufacturers, mobile network operators and online service providers and to drive the adoption of the FIDO Ready NNLTM S3 Authentication Suite.”The need for a more secure, easy to use, scalable online authentication ecosystem is a global concern,” said Phil Dunkelberger, President & CEO of Nok Nok Labs. “Joining forces with DDS provides us with a strong partner in the Japanese market to meet the needs of the region and to drive the growth in the market for FIDO-based authentication.”DDS joined the FIDO Alliance in April 2014 becoming the first Japanese member.
