Sweden's Fingerprint Cards has revealed that its FPC1025 sensor features in Chinese smartphone maker Huawei's MaiMang 4.In a statement FPC said that expected revenues in 2015 that relate to sales of FPC1025 for this smartphone model are included in FPC's communicated revenue guidance of approximately 2,200 MSEK (US$255 million) for 2015.Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, said: “Huawei is a leading global smartphone manufacturer and we are proud that Huawei selected FPC1025 for MaiMang 4, following up on the great success of Ascend Mate 7 embedding FPC1020 and Honor 7 embedding FPC1025. FPC1025 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality”.Earlier this week, FPC announced that its FPC1150 touch fingerprint sensor features on the long-awaited new budget smartphone launched this week by China's OnePlus.
